  1. Maintain an open environment that welcomes new ideas, philosophies, and challenges.
  2. Exercise intellectual humility by reminding each other that it’s okay to ask questions, to not know an answer, to make mistakes, and to seek help.
  3. Practice inclusivity by being self-aware of our assumptions, by taking the time to engage with colleagues from different backgrounds, and by encouraging everyone to have a voice and give input.
