Please read Chapter 3 (skip the appendices) and Chapter 9 (read the appendices) from the book Reflections on the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Accident.
There will be no lecture on Wednesday, March 7th, but I encourage you to come to class and work together on reading through the assigned reading.

- What methods were used for assessing contamination levels? 4pt.
- What argument is made about the relationship between “societal culture” and “safety culture?” Is it a well supported argument? Do you agree with the argument? 7pt.
